I am an Integrative Therapeutic Counsellor, which means I can draw on different approaches depending on your own individual needs. The foundation of my work is a Psychodynamic approach. This focuses on exploring how your past experiences and relationships may be shaping your current thoughts, feelings and behaviours today. By making sense of these patterns, you can begin to develop a greater self-awareness and realise the possibility of change.
I am a Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling Psychotherapy (BACP). I adhere to the BACP Ethical Framework which means I will always be working safely and ethically with you.
I have worked with a variety of presenting issues such as depression, anxiety, physical/emotional/sexual abuse, self-harm, bereavement, stress and trauma. I also have experience working with Autism and ADHD.
I work one-to-one with clients in a face-to-face setting. I do offer skype/zoom/whatsapp counselling also. My garden office is in Northwood with free, accessible street parking. I am also five minutes walk from both Northwood Hills and Northwood Station (Metropolitan Line).
