I work as an Integrative Therapeutic Counsellor which means simply that I can draw on a variety of different approaches depending on your own individual needs. The foundation of my work is a Person-Centred approach which means we work together at your pace, to meet your needs, helping you to find your own answers and your own way forward.
I am fully qualified and a Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling Psychotherapy (BACP). I adhere to the BACP Ethical Framework which means I will always be working safely and ethically with you.
As well as my own busy Private Practice, I also work as a Counsellor for Mind. Past positions include working as a Bereavement Counsellor for Bereavement Care. I have worked with a variety of presenting issues such as depression, anxiety, physical/emotional/sexual abuse, self-harm, bereavement, stress and trauma to name but a few.
I work one-to-one with clients in a face-to-face setting. I do not offer telephone or skype counselling. My garden office is in Northwood with free, accessible street parking. I am also five minutes walk from both Northwood Hills and Northwood Station (Metropolitan Line).
I am happy to do home visits too.
